Dancing Pays off to Feed the Hungry
Nine of the twelve dancers from the recent 10th Annual Let’s Dance Louisville – A Decade of Dance charity competition, held June 14 at The Galt House, presented the Cathedral of the Assumption’s Sandefur Dining Hall with a check for nearly $187,000. This amount represents the net amount raised to support Feed My Neighbor, a part of the Cathedral’s important daily lunch ministry. Thank you! Pictured in the photo L-R are: The Very Rev. Fred Klotter (2025 People’s Choice Award Winner), Rodney Wisdom, Elle Smith, Janet Tyre, Jessica Piasta, John Smart, Kay Madrick, Sam Owings (2025 Grand Champion Award Winner), Jonathan Klunk (2025 Judges Award Winner) and Jenny Rouchka, dancer coordinator and 2018 Grand Champion Award Winner. Dancers not pictured include: Brandi Alexander, Oremeyi Kareem, and Sarah Carter Levitch. Each year the Cathedral’s Sandefur Dining Hall serves thousands of individuals who seek a safe environment for lunch and other services. Let’s Dance Louisville will return next year on June 13.
